Shipment of one ton of food and 1,500 bottles of water to Rio Grande do Sul

Donations were purchased with the organization's own resources and sent with the support of the company Rota Sul Transportes.

The The Factory Association: Health, Sports, and Culture– an NGO based in Paulínia (SP) – sent one ton of non-perishable food and 1,500 bottles of water (1.5 liters each) last week to the city of Caxias do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul. The donations were made using the organization’s own resources and are expected to benefit hundreds of families.

The transport of the donations was carried out completely free of charge by the company Rota Sul Transportes. “We want to thank Rota Sul for making themselves available to deliver the donations at no cost. We are seeing all corners of Brazil unite to help Rio Grande do Sul face this tragedy, and we hope that in some way, however modest, we can collaborate with the affected families, bringing water, food, and everything within our reach,” states Bruno Wellington, president of The Factory.

Currently, A Fábrica has ongoing social projects in three cities in Rio Grande do Sul: Bento Gonçalves, Porto Alegre, and Montenegro.

In addition to the donations already sent, the organization is also available to assist individuals or corporations who want to send large quantities of donations to cities in Rio Grande do Sul.
