Athlete Factory Social Project opens new units and expands slots for soccer classes nationwide

The initiative offers free soccer classes for children and teens ages 6 to 17 in the cities of João Câmara (RN), Campinas (SP), Mococa (SP), Sorocaba (SP), and Ourinhos (SP); the project also includes full uniforms and cleats

The Athlete Factory social project, currently operating in João Câmara (RN), Campinas (SP), Mococa (SP), Sorocaba (SP), and Ourinhos (SP), is opening new units and expanding its services with the goal of reaching a total of 2,500 children and teens ages 6 to 17. Lasting 12 months, the project also includes the delivery of full uniforms and cleats, nutritional replacement, and all materials necessary for sports practice, such as vests, cones, balls, and other sports items.

“The proposal is to bring inclusion and social transformation through sports,” says Bruno Wellington, president of The Factory Association: Health, Sports, and Culture. “All our centers are located in areas of extreme social vulnerability, thus bringing significant changes and real opportunities for these children and youth,” he explains.

Organized by the Factory: Health, Sports & Culture Association, the project offers free soccer lessons for children and teenagers aged 6 to 17. The activities, which began on June 24th, take place Monday through Friday, always outside of school hours. Each group of students has two lessons per week, each lasting one hour.
