Bio-jewelry Workshop and Exhibition project offers professional training for individuals aged 16 and up. It aims to provide new income generation opportunities for citizens in situations of social vulnerability, while also supporting charitable organizations in Brazilian municipalities. To date, approximately 500 people have benefited from the project.
The initiative consists of workshops led by professionals in the fields of jewelry and bio-jewelry design. In the classes—held at previously selected charitable organizations—participants learn to create pieces using natural and recyclable materials such as seeds, coffee capsules, paper, and metal scraps, among others.
Following the workshops, the pieces produced by the students are showcased in an exhibition and donated to the institutions. Among the items are earrings, necklaces, keychains, and bracelets that can be sold by the charitable organizations to raise financial resources.
In the cities of Bauru (SP), Marília (SP), and Sorocaba (SP), the project has served 500 people and benefited 10 social organizations.
